Törggelen has always been a tradition in South Tyrol. During the autumn month, several typical restaurants called “Buschenschänke” offer delicious wine and typical local dishes in a special atmosphere.

On Sunday, the 3th of September, along the route of the old railway line, a unique Culinary Event will take place. Different associations and companies will serve delicious dishes and will entertain the guests. There are many different ways to take part and enjoy the event: either walking, cycling or taking advantage from the shuttle service.

On Saturday, 12th of August 2017, the “Schlosskonzert”, a music concert, will take place in the inner courtyard of the Castle Enn. The historical band of Montan celebrates this concert, which is the band´s annual highlight.

Already in April, the solemn opening ceremony of the Blauburgunder Days takes place in the castle Enn in Montan. From the 6 ^th to 8^th of May, the noble variety is again playing a central role and wine tastings and seminars will be offered. The higher vineyards of Montan and Neumarkt are known for the cultivation of the Blauburgunder wine and during these days, every visitor has the opportunity to taste local and also international Blauburgunder wines.

This year, also our Residence Hof am Keller will be involved: at lunch, Anton Dalvai from the traditional restaurant “Dorfnerhof” will serve delicious dishes to our guests.

On Saturday, 13th of August 2016, the “Schlosskonzert”, a music concert, will take place in the inner courtyard of the Castle Enn. This year, the historical band of Montan, celebrates the 30th anniversary of the concert, which is the band’s annual highlight.

Those who would like to attend the concert can use the free shuttle sercice from the main parking area in Montan.

Between April 22 and June 11, 2016, the 10^th Wine Route Festival will be celebrated in 16 communities in the vicinity of Bozen / Bolzano and along the South Tyrolean Wine Route. This festival centers on wine – a topic very close to the hearts of all of the inhabitants in the south of South Tyrol. Wine dominates the landscape along the Wine Route, the architecture, and the cuisine.

The program includes elegant wine-tastings in historical buildings, hikes, and culinary tours through wine gardens, wine seminars, wine parties, and concerts in the romantic setting of ancient wine villages. The delicious wines are always accompanied by the tasty regional cuisine of the south of South Tyrol. The culmination and grand finale of the festival is the “Night of the Wine Cellars” on June 11, 2016. On that night, numerous wineries along the historic Wine Route celebrate “open door” events, where you can visit their treasure troves and sample their wares. An exciting night in the historical wine cellars with excellent South Tyrolean wines and interesting conversations. For convenient transportation, a special shuttle service will be set up to speed you connoisseurs from cellar to cellar and then back home again.
